KAYA TOASTS WITH SOFT-BOILED EGGS!!!

That is the Singaporean breakfast that you should never give it a miss when you happen to be traveling here! It consists of 2 slices of toasts that sandwich a slice of cold, hard butter and kaya (coconut pandan paste) spread. Usually, these toasts are paired with 2 soft-boiled eggs which are typically seasoned with a dash of white pepper and few drops of dark soya sauce (you may use light soya sauce for less color and a more savory taste).
Typical Kaya Toast with 2 soft-boiled eggs and Kopi Siew Dai for me!
I like my set with kopi siew sai (coffee with milk, less sweet). Ohh, I am hungry now...
Anyway, if you are really curious about local drinks that Singaporeans indulge in, that are commonly found in local coffee shops, see this infographic and you can order your next drink like a pro at the coffee shop!
